And that's with the same gear thrown on him from the dee build, same style of play, Cept it's with massive fire aoe. Only pyro engineer comes close to the next best farm build. all other builds suck right now compared to dee build coupled with support skills from gear in my opinion, based on hours of experience with each class. I can run through maps and stand in middle raping everything lol. I slow everything in the room then with super fast cast speed (+55%) super fast movement speed boots, (+ 30%), and the soldier health regen skill, poison aoe cloud skill, and electric discharge skill that's on my other pieces of gear. I have a level 25 commando, and a pyro, and a dee build. You CAN be overwhelmed if you are unlucky with your kiting.

Most of the time they try to create a barrier of projectiles so that they force you to constantly move.Īnd lastly, remember to have a clear retreat.

Yes, I know I am a coward and a conservative.ģ)Fiends: With good armor they don't hit that bad, but they can slow you and they are fastĤ)Adulants: They are the least threat in my opinion, rarely relocating to get a better shot. Personally, I prioritise the threats as such:ġ)Harbingers: I always lure them from range and fight them from range. If you get caught in a sigil and a fiend slows you in the same time that adulants pest you with their measly projectiles while you had been cursed by a harbinger. Also, void fiends and anomalies are there on their own. Priests and Zealots both spawn void anomalies and void fiends accordingly. However, there are many things in DS that can go wrong. Shooting in the dark here, because the OP speaks about general difficulties in DS without narrowing it down much.Ĭhaos Resistance helps. Clearly other tactics are required for DS. Even the Warden is pretty easy - the Nightblade uses his whirling blades to stretch out the time between potions and most of the other characters have the raven with heal abilities. I run the Warden's Cellar with all my characters and running around is quite effective - I don't often die. The other builds generally have more DPS - up to 290 but with life totals of around 1200 to 1500 and those life points disappear pretty fast. The Soldier has around 2700 health, about 225 DPS and decked out in the Guardsman's set with high armour and fairly decent elemental and physical resists but his need to stand toe-to-toe is his weakness. The builds are Soldier, Pyromancer, Demolitionist, Witchblade and Nightblade, all level 25 and have all failed in the same fashion so far. The reason why I put the question as I did was because regardless of the build, those weird looking priest casters (I haven't lived long enough to get a better description) kill me pretty fast.
